WEB DESIGNING:  Is the art of creativity.  Web designer creates the look and feel of a website.
 

HAVING A SITE:  I can build a website for your business. Whether you are a makeup artist, hair stylist or another occupation you need a website to represent your work. 

 
HOSTING: You can have any host to be your webhosting for your site such as: godaddy, wix, weebly, yola, bluehost, google, etc..

Godaddy(a little pricey) as your web-hosting and have wix for your website builder or everything godaddy.

The only thing with godaddy, as a website builder, you would have to purchase everything first and then start designing. It does not allow you to design it for free first.

Whereas with wix you can design what you want and have it free but wix ads will be on the site which is ok but the point is you can see what you designed for free first before purchasing anything.  

You can also choose to have weebly as your website builder and godaddy as web-hosting or weebly and wix instead of godaddy as the web-host, or you can even have google as your web-host which is inexpensive an another alternative to have.

 I've learned that if you do web-hosting(which is the domain) with bluehost, or google and website builder with either Wordpress, Wix, or Weebly with email the cost will be for everything a moderate cost BUT you will pay it every 2 to 3yrs as  how you choose you want to pay. Wix is the only one you pay every year depending on how many pages you want to have your site to have.

Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server owned or leased for use by clients, as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center.

 

DOMAIN: A domain name is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority or control within the Internet. Domain names are formed by the rules and procedures of the Domain Name System (DNS). Any name registered in the DNS is a domain name.

Domain names are used in various networking contexts and application-specific naming and addressing purposes. (www.makemepretty.com)

 

 

You need to have a domain name for yourself for your site.  Try and think of a unique name for your site that will represent you. If the name you give me for your website is taken, I will inform you and you will think of another name for your website.

 

 

PAYMENT:  All payment is done via paypal.  There is a small initial fee for creating the site.  Once you start to send me info to update your site(adding changing things around), there is a quarterly maintenance fee.  Payment for webhosting will be included also providing when you would want the renewal every 2yrs or 3yrs.

CREATING SITE:   Depending on the type of work you do, creating the site is usually 8-14 business day turn around. It may be completed sooner, but it all depends how much work I have to do on the site and the information you send  me to add.

 

 

MAINTENANCE FEE:   Once you first send me the initial email to add photos, change things on your website, from the date of the initial email to make changes is done, that is when the maintenance fee will start.  It will be a quarterly(3months) bill of a small fee.
